Send to email recipient

I have a office XP user who regularly send spreadsheets to our controller.
He recently upgraded from Office 2000 to Office XP. In Office 2000 when he
selected "send to recipient" it would send the information on the current
tab in and email (not using the attachment option). The recipient of the
email could print the email and would print just the data. Now in Office XP
when he does this, the recipient gets an email which is 120 pages long (when
printed). Why is is sending all of the rows for this spreadsheet. Why
doesn't the set print area affect this?
