I have Windows XP Pro, Office 2003 Pro environment. Long story short:
Needed to be able to view jpg files in Access database which no longer worked
in 2003. Followed a solution in "What to do when you see file names instead
of images in your Access database" article on Office Online. Solution was to
install Photo Editor from 2000 or XP Office CD (we used 2000). Jpg's now
work great in Access database but we have a strange side effect.
In Windows, when we right-click on a file, choose Send To - Mail Recipient,
nothing happens anymore. Worked before Photo Editor, doesn't work after.
Recreated the problem on a 2nd machine. Uninstalling Photo Editor does not
work. Problem exists for all users who log on to PC, both restricted and
administrators.
I've tried resetting Outlook 2003 as the default mail program in Internet
Options, and tried registering the sendmail.dll file. I can't get it to work
again.
I would be grateful for any suggestions!
