Send To Function in Word 2000 not working properly

I hope I am in the right place for this question that is
driving me crazy.
For some reason I can no longer right click on a
document, go to send to and save to a CD in the D drive.
Right now it is doing nothing when I try to do this.
Before I did whatever I did, it would search for a target
and then say that a shortcut is missing.
It seems as if the link between word and the D drive has
somewhat been changed or deleted.
I know that the D drive is working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email

If this is Word 2002, you're not crazy. That function doesn't work in Word
2002.
