I've just installed a new Windows 2000 Terminal Server for
a client and have Office 2000 (SP3, with all available
updates applied) installed. Everything is running fine,
except when they attempt to use the Send to Mail Recipient
(as Attachment) menu function, it attempts to launch
Outlook 2000 (Outlook Express is their default mail
client). The Send to Mail Recipient (for Review) works
just fine, as the Outlook Express engine is initiated and
their Contacts list from their WAB file shows up when they
address the message. I've tried just removing Outlook
from the Office setup (Add/Remove Programs --
Change/Remove components), but the initial profile
selection dialog from Outlook still pops up when they try
the Send to .. (as Attachment). I'm assuming there is a
registry entry that controls this behavior that has gotten
crossed up somewhere. Anyone know what it might be?
Thanks.
