The option is greyed out for me, and is like this for others as well. My
default mail client is Lotus Notes 6.0.2, though others have problems with
teh same verion of Office and newer version of Notes (6.5 & 7).
The Send To -> Mail Recipient option is available and functioning in
Powerpoint, so this seems to rule out any potential issues with Lotus Notes.
The only Send To options that I get within Word are Fax Recipient and
Microsoft Powerpoint (the others are greyed out). I read about a similar
issue with a different version of Office and Lotus Notes, through which the
fix was making some registry modifications. I made the registry changes
recommended for that issue, and this did not help.
To make it more confusing, another person, with the same version of Lotus
Notes and Office has the option available (and working) for them.
