send to->mail recipient ... with outlook signature

J

John Smith

Hi there,

We are using Outlook 2003, and I have an exec who has a bit of a knack of
asking valid yet pointless questions. He has configured his outlook to
attach a signature when:
* he creates a new e-mail
* replies or forwards an e-mail
But he wants to know why his signature doesnt appear when he is browser
files in explorer, and selects:
* Right Click->Send To->Mail recipient
A new e-mail opens with the file attached, and the subject line of
"emailing... file blaha"

I would think this is just something by design. Any thoughts or pointers on
this?

thanks in advance,

This is because when using the rightclick method Windows handles the
creation (content) of the e-mail and not Outlook. As you can see it also
adds some text to the body of the mail.
