"Send to Mail Recipient

I have a form setup for multiple users. They are required after filling out
the form to use the "Send to Mail Recipient". The problem is that some of our
users have no problems and Outlook opens with the form in the body of the
message but some users get an error saying Infopath can't open the email
program.

Also, for the users that get the error, if outlook is already open then the
"Send to recipient" command works.

Hello

Its not the error with infopath but with your windows settings.
Check that Outlook has been set as your default email client.

Go to Start->Run->mailto:[email protected]

See if outlook opens, if it doesn't, you need to register Outlook as
default email client.

I checked and Outlook is the default mail client. I think I forgot to mention
that the different users where some work and some don't are using the
computer.
Info:
windows 2000
MS office 2003
Users log onto a domain
Exchange server.

My guess is this has something to do with the ntuser.dat file in thier
profile that has the registry settings.

Can you post the exact error message?

The exact error is "Infopath cannot start the email program. Make sure that
your email program is setup correctly and that you can connect to your mail
server".
