Send to OneNote printing problem

ON 2007 Windows XP
The send to onenote printer isn't working correctly - when I attempt
to print something, the unfiled note page is created with the
appropriate header but nothing actually "prints" to the note page. In
checking the printer control panel, the print job shows as "printing"
but it is always stalled at "64kb out of [whatever size the print job
is]".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled OneNote, and i have checked the
printer settings to make sure the Port, RAW, etc are all as they
should be. Any ideas on what to do next? TIA.

In searching the group, I found this two-year old post reporting the
identical symptoms to what I am seeing. There was no solution ever
provided:

Subject: Re: Send to OneNote Does Not Generate An Image In OneNote

Today I checked my work computer and found that nothing allegedly
printed to
OneNote showed up on a search. I did notice, however, that my
computer did
not show the window that gave a progress report on printing to
OneNote, as my
home machine did last evening. I tried running the repair function
for
OneNote from the Add Programs option in the Control Panel. That
succeeded
only in removing the Send to OneNote printier altogether. I then
uninstalled
and reinstalled OneNote 2007 Trial only to find the same result - the
Send to
OneNote printer shows as an option and a new page opens in OneNote,
but
nothing is printed there. I also noticed that the windows printer
window
stays open, as if Windows is trying without success to print. This
has
caused the spooler to run continuously until I cancel the print
request.

Obviously, something is preventing the add-in from completing the
print job,
but I have no idea how to fix this. Help!
