Send to recipient as attachment, Office 2003

When trying to send a word document using the "File, Send
to, Mail Recipient (as Attachment)..." option we are
receiving the following error message:

"mapi32.dll" is an invalid Extended MAPI library"

then...

"Mail is not installed on your system."

When trying to send an Excel file using the same method,
we receive the following error message:

"Cannot load the mail service. Check your mail
installation."


This is on a Windows 2003 Standard Server with Exchange
2003 and Terminal Services installed.

I'm having the same problem and have narrowed it down to when I have Itunes open. When I close Itunes, sending a document from Word or Excel works as it should.
