send to recipient directly from file doesn't work?

Hi,

I have Outlook 2003

In photo files and folders there is a right click drop down menu with the
option 'send to email recipient'. The file appears to be opened and
transferred as the option of re-sizing the picture appears and is processed.
However, nothing opens in Outlook. What to do?

Appreciate any help on this,
