Send V-Card without notes

Hi,

I have read couple of interesting postings here in this newsgroup in respect
to sending V-Card with notes. I need exactly that what other users described
as a "problem". I have tried to send a V-Card but the notes will NOT
disappear (as it happens to many users here in this newsgroup). Unfortunatley
they are still showing at the receiving end although we would like them to
disappear.

Can anyone explain why that would be the case? How come that on some PCs the
notes in a Contact dissapear whilst by other PCs they still show?

Any ideas?

Save the vCard as a .vcf file, edit it in Notepad, then attach that file to the outgoing message.

Hi Sue,

Many thanks for your reply.

What I don't understand is why I have to do all the below steps when other
users get this automatically as soon as they send the contact as V-Card (e.g.
see posting 3/18 Arjay and 3/19 Brian Tillman). Their notes disappear when
they send their V-Card and I need to save the vCard as a .vcf file, edit it
in Notepad, then attach that file to the outgoing message?!

I suspect you'd find some differences in the Outlook build numbers that all these users have. That's the most likely explanation.
