Send2ON 2003 works to 2007

A web page from IE gets a little disjointed, but shows up in the 2007 beta in
Unfiled Notes | Sidenotes. Settings can't change the destination result.

Will powertoy tweaks for 2007 show up before the end of the beta period?

Tools, Options, Filing Rules controls where WebNotes are filed in
OneNote.
I wonder though why you are using Send2ON2003? The functionality of that
tool has been integrated into OneNote 2007 and should be installed with
it into IE (you prob. should have removed the powertoy though before you
installed 2007).

So under Tools, Options, Filing Rules
if the path to store Web Notes is C:\Documents and Settings\jol\My
Documents\OneNote Notebooks\SIDEnotes.one

and I insert a notebook named WEBclips into ON, then revise this path to
point to that.. will all other true SideNotes I create still get sent to
SIDEnotes.one?

Thanks,
Joe

They will always be send to the target you set there. If you change the
target, why should they still be send to the old one?
When you reinstall OneNote 2007, make sure to delete the send to OneNote
printer (powertoy) as well!
Remove ON, reboot. Remove all PowerToys, reboot. Reinstall OneNote 2007.
Reboot.
You are not going to loose any data or settings doing this.

OK, but, are SideNotes the same as Web Notes and the same as those notes that
are initiated by a SendtoOneNote button?

Thanks,
jol

The options in the filing rules are:
- Meetings. This is from Outlook
- Contacts. Also from Outlook
- E-mail. Outlook again
- WebNotes. This is from Send to OneNote button in IE
- Printouts. This is from the printer Send to OneNote

I hope that explains it.
