When I create a powerpoint presentation ( usually 1 page) I would like
to send it to Word so that I can then email to people who don't have
powerpoint.

I see there is a link to send to word, but when I do that, Word opens,
but nothing transfers over. Can someone please help???

IIRC, the Mac version of PPt only sends thte text content of Title, Subtitle
& Bulleted List Placeholders to Word. If your content is graphics and/or
contained in text boxes (or other shapes) that would explain why the doc is
blank. However there are workarounds:

One is to save the slide as a picture, then use Word's Insert> Picture> From
File command to insert the slide.

Another (perhaps less preferable) is to Select All in PPT, copy, then paste
into a doc.

You can also take a screen shot of the slide & paste that into a doc.

There may be more options offered by others, so be sure to check back.

Hi,

I have a some suggestions:

If you want them to see the presentation with animations, slide transitions,
etc. then use File > Make Movie. Send the movie file.

You can save the entire presentation as a series of pictures by use File >
Save As and choose a picture type (JPEG is popular). Send the resulting
folder.

You can save the entire presentation as a web site. Use File > Save As >
Web Page. Send the .html document plus any associated folder that is
created.
