Sending and receiving Email with Outlook

After setting up my email account in Outlook the
following error occurs when trying to send or receive
email.

Task '(e-mail address removed) Mail Account - Receiving'
reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An
object could not be found.'
Task '(e-mail address removed) Mail Account - Sending'
reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An
object could not be found.'

Earthlink was unable to help. Any ideas what the error
is and how to fix it?

When I test the account setting in Outlook it says
everything is ok. Outlook Express work fine.

What service did you configure? POP3, IMAP, Exchange, HTTP, other...?
This is normally an error you get with an Exchange connection and the
Offline Address Book can't be downloaded. You can reconfigure the download
options for the Address Book in;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive...-> select group->
button Edit-> select Account and reconfigure the Address Book settings

If this is for POP3 and both accounts use the same POP3 server set only one
account to receive (option is located in the same location as above)

Have you tried creating a new mail profile here:

Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show Profiles->Add?

the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.
