Sending and retrieving from Excel and Word

Hi how can I send reports with subreports to Excel and
Word. Place the report and subreports info in specific
area of the excell worksheet or doc page then manipulate
the data (edit, remove, etc) and then return the
modifications to Access to keep consistency?
