SENDING CURRENT FILE AS AN ATTACHMENT TO A MSG REPLY

Sometimes when I am assigned a task and I have completed the same it sure
seems annoying to save a copy of the said file on my local PC, open the
original email, reply the same, attach the work file by browsing back to PC,
and after sending the same deleting the said copy!

Any idea how to send an opened file as an attachment to an email received so
as to be sent back as a reply or forwarded?

It's possible but not quite practical;
1) Open the message in its own window by double clicking it.
2) Open the attachment.
3) Edit the attachment.
4) Save the attachment.
5) Close the message and choose to save the changes when prompted;
The message is now stored with the modified attachment.
6) Press Forward to send the message with the attachment changes and
readdress the email.

Personally I simply drag and drop the attachment from the message onto my
Desktop. Open it, edit it, save it. Then I press reply and I drag and drop
the attachment back into my reply and delete the item from my Desktop. It
sure is much quicker and much more reliable as the method mentioned above.
