Sending E-mail From VB

Hi,

At the company we're running Microsoft Office 2000 without any Service Packs
because we have some VB6 applications which are using outlook for sending
e-mails. I want to upgrade to Office 2000 Service Pack 3 because I know
this will block dangerous e-mail attachments.
For the moment we can't upgrade because I know that once we do it Outlook
will start giving security warnings when trying to send an e-mail from
within a VB6 application and we don't want to send our mails via smtp.
Is there a way to grant access to a specific program for sending e-mails
using outlook (maybe by link a digital certificate to the application)

Or is there an other way to send e-mails via outlook from within a vb6
application?

Is it possible to send me a small code sample of this or give me clear
instructions about what to do?
