I have been trying to change my mail over to Outlook 2003 from ISP (Comcast)
for about a week. I can receive e-mails, but can't send. I have another
user on this computer with a separate account that I set up and is sending
and receiving fine.

I have Norton Internet security installed, Linksys wireless internet
connections. Have already uninstalled and reinstalled Norton. Comcast
doesn't support Outlook and pretty much everyone else from HP, to Norton to
numerous blogs have been unsuccessful. Can anyone help me?

You don't change "to outlook from comcast." These are 2 different things.
Outlook is your email program, while comcast is your email provider. Outlook
will retrieve your comcast email if you set up the account correctly. Get the
correct server settings from comcast's support site. Comcast does work with
Outlook and Outlook Express. It just won't help you with problems with OL.

Sorry, I meant that I was trying to use Outlook to retreive my comcast
e-mail. I have already verified the settings given by my ISP and numerous
tests have been successful, however I still have to go to the Comcast site to
send e-mail.

Just on a whim I created a second e-mail account (so now I have 2) and it
works. I'm going to give it a few days to make sure....
