Hi,
It was sent as an attachment but I do not know if it is RTF message. By
the
way, what is RTF message?
When I double click the attachment (DL), the same thing come up to the
secren when you go to contacts folder and double click on the any
distribution list. That's why I asked if it is possible to import the
attachment in contacts in outlook. It is exactly the same and all the
members
of the DL is in there when I double click the file.

Thanks

It is a file with an extention .msg
It is an outlook item (after extention there is a text message "Outlook
item")

Thanks
:
Depends on how the DL was sent. To open and save it in your own
Folder,
it
must have been sent as an Outlook Item in an RTF message.

Hi,
Yes I have. I received that distribution list from someone else in
my
organization. He send it me as an e-mail attachment. How can I
import
it
in
the contact list in Outlook?

Thanks

Anything else you want to add to this story? You've done something
wrong,
but we can't tell what.
You need to configure your Outlook Address Book correctly so that
it
is
displaying the Contacts Folder in which you placed this DL.
You can also select the DL from your Contacts Folder.

It doesn't allow me to put it in the To: and when I open
addressbook
it
is
not there.
Do I need to add it in the DL list? if so how?

Thanks
:
Put the DL in the To: field of a message. Why would you open the
DL?

Hi,
I received a distribution list from another person in my
organization
and
it
is not a global distributionlist. I want to send an email to
distribution
list but when I open and select all the items in the personal
distributionlist and click send a message to this contacts
icon
button
outlook gives a message "First select a valid email adress for
this
contact"
Could you please tell me how can I send an email to personal
distribution
list I got from someone else?
