Sending Email After a Database Driven Form Is Filled out

I haven't seen this question and hope someone has a solution to the problem.
I have a form to collect registration information that populates an access
database and I'd like to send an email message once the form is submitted.
However, many of you may know if you've worked with Frong Page forms linked
to a database that there is no way (that I can see) for configuring the form
to send email.
Has anyone else faced and successfully overcome this limitation?
