Sending email issues

shdytxmn

I have used Outlook for years and have never run in to this issue.

Since I installed Vista, when I send an email and use tha address book email
address, nothing happens. I thought perhaps it was an Outlook 2002 issue and
installed Outlook 2007. What happens is this. The address book address
comes over to Outlook as John Doe ([email protected]) and the message
never leaves the outbox. I have to manually change the email address to
(e-mail address removed) and it will go. Is this a Vista issue, a registry
issue or ??? I would really appreciate knowing how to get Outlook 2007 and
Vista to send the email as the address book places it in the email.

Thanks fr you help.

Nothing has changed. Everything still works the same. You have provided no
necessary information. We have no idea how you are selecting your recipient.
Most likely this is end user error. It appears you did not migrate your data
or configure your address book service correctly when you changed both your
OS and Office version. We have no idea how you did that either. It's your
move.

askmd OFFICE 2007. I have re entered all of my e-mail addresses in OUTLOOK
2007 and still have the problem of e-mail not beeing sent when you press the
send
button. I usually ask for a receipt when I send my e-mail and only rarely
have received one. I will now try entering the email addresses individually
to see if they go out when I press the send button.

You are posting a different issue. Do so more clearly in a new thread.

Also state whether you are the original poster. If you are, then provide the
information I requested if you expect assistance with the original problem.
