Sending email "On Behalf Of" another person

I've seen emails in which the "From" sender is charachterized as having come
from one email address "On Behalf Of" another email address.

How do I compose an email "On Behalf Of" someone else?

You first have to have delegate rights for that person, then once that's
established, while in the new message window, and I'm basing this on Outlook
2003, you can click on the Options command button with the down arrow and
click on From, then select the person you have delegate rights to and finish
the email accordingly. I hope this helps.

Hi, I have a similar situtaion except that the user does not want to send on
"behalf of", rather she wants to send as, so that her name does not appear at
all, only her manager's name does.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

She needs "send as" permission instead of "send on behalf of".

Any particular reason you posted nothing more than a quote of someone else's
message?
