Sending email on different server

Hi,

I just started working with a non-profit and I'll be working from home quite often. Yesterday, my boss and I shared files using an ethernet cable and transferred the information from her entourage to mine. That was all well and good, but today, because I'm not on the same server, I can't seem to receive email. The email account I'm trying to access is through her server, it's not gmail or hotmail or anything. I think the problem is due to the SMTP server, but I'm not sure how to go about altering this so that I can receive emails while switching between servers. Can anyone help?

Use your home ISP's outgoing SMTP server. This does not affect the
receiving settings you use for your business email account.
