I use alot of distribution lists and have different
folders under contacts to organize the different groups
we do business with. However, I have to copy them into
the main contact files to select them from the address
book when sending emails. Outlook on XP...I do have a
acer baby( tablet XP edition), however, I have this same
problem on all computers except on older laptop that is
running 98. How do I get these selected individuals to
come up in the drop down box?
Also, To export data from an excel file.....If my excel
file has first and last name is different fields how do I
handle the mapping on this?
.....and I imported an pst backup file and forgot to click
on replace duplicates. I was very tired and I did this a
few times not realizing what a mess I was making. Is
there a wizard to delelte duplicates?
any help appreciated.

On the first question, right click the Contact folders choose Properties and
Outlook Address Book > check enable as email address book.

For the second question, importing from Excel then best practice is to use
named ranges as per http://support.microsoft.com?scid=kb;EN-US;Q196743, you
should also see a map field checkbox as you go through the import Wizard.

For question three check out some tools here
