Sending email

I have just bought a new computer and am using Outlook 2007.

When sending emails with attachments, according to outlook, the email will
not send. However the receipient receives the email numerous times until I
physically delete the email from the outbox.

I can't see any problems, can you please help... Happy to provide more
information when requested.

If you have an integrated anti virus product, ie its scanning email,
uninstall that Av, and retest
If OK reinstall the AV *without* the outlook intergration.
Allthough if its a new PC any antivirus app preinstalled is probably a time
limited trial

Thank you for the suggestion.

I've uninstalled my AV as advised, however that hasn't resolved the problem.
I still cannot send emails with attachments. Is there anything else I can
try??
