Sending emails with attachements

About a month ago, Outlook started acting up on me at work. I cannot send
emails with attachments, big or small. And sometimes it will send an email
without an attachment and sometimes it won't. I have had our tech person out
a couple of times, she even uninstalled and re-installed. Any ideas as to
why this would start all of a sudden and how can I fix it?

Hi, Stacy. When you post, please provide a lot more information, such as the
version and SP level of Outlook, and the exact error messages you get. Your
post is light on detail and nobody is likely to be able to do more than
guess.

In addition to Lanwench's comment, I'll take the guess;

Often these issues occur by having a virus scanner integrated with Outlook.
Disable/uninstall this integration and try again.
You'd still be sufficiently protected by the on-access scanner.

Sorry, Ok I'm using Outlook 2003. Not sure what SP level 3. I don't get any
error messages, what happens is I hit send, then at the bottom right corner
it shows "preparing to send" and will do this for a long time. Then that
message goes away and my email is still in my out box. If I hit send/receive
again it will say either "preparing to send" or "sending", which ever it
decides to do. Then again that little message goes away and my email still
sits in my outbox. I never sends. If I try to see what errors there are and
open up the details, both the tasks and errors boxed are empty. It takes
some manipulation to even eventually delete the email from the outbox. I
hope this makes some sort of sense. Thanks.

I am having the same issue with my Oulook.

I am running Outlook 2007 Windows Vista though, I tried to follow the
directions in other posts but when it talks about disabling addi-ins for
Outlook I dont know which ones to work with, or if this is even the correct
way to approach this.

Is this the means that I should be taking or do you think my comes from
another issue being a 2007 version

Can any one help
