Sending emails with attachment problem outlook 2007

I have had outlook 2007 installed on my computer for 10 months. until
recently, I have had no problems sending emails with attachments. now, all
of a sudden, emails with the smallest attachment either do not send or send
hours later. is this a program problem or is it my provider?

You don't mention what your operating system is, what type of connection you
have to the internet, or whether or not it is a direct connect to the
internet or you are behind a SOHO router (e.g. Linksys, Netgear, .etc) that
lets you share a single IP address with many machines.

The reason that this is important is that if you running Vista, it may
require you turning off a feature the network stack. (e.g. search for netsh
autotuninglevel)

I am running vista, dsl connected linksys wireless network connection shared
with 3 computers.
