Outlook appears to be disconnecting with my ISP before sending all, and
usually any, of my emails from the outbox. In other words sometimes some
eamils are going and most times none are going!! I am using Office 2003 with
Windows XP Servbice Pack 2 and all updates for both (I think). I have had
more recent success with sending emails by changing the automatic
disconnection after sending using manual send/receive. But what should I do
to get back to being able to use the automatic discooention? Two other
things I have noticed are that:
1. The send/receive process appears to automatically start whenever I open
Outlook, even though I am not connected to the internet.
2. With the automatic disconnection turned off the emails still seem to be
going from my system even though the send/receive window has previously
closed suggesting the emails had already gone.
I am also curious as to why Microsoft will not recognise the Product No I
have for Office even though I loaded it into my system from a legitimate
purchase from a reputable store.
