"Sending" error 0x8004010A

I am getting the message: "Sending" reported error (0x8004010A) 'the
operation cannot be performed because the object has been deleted"

It only happens when sending a reply or forward. I am using Outlook
2003/XP2e. The send/receive series is 4 step: sending mail.mileone.com;
receiving mail.mileone.com; sending Exchange server; receiving Exchange
server. the Email goes out via the Exchange server, but I'm still getting
the message and an error on the smtp send.
