Hi,
I get the following message when I try to send a fax using Microsoft Fax &
Scan:
Either ther is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot
fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it
as the default mail client.
I'm using Vista RC2 (5744) and Office 2007 Beta 2 with technical refresh
installed. Outlook is set as default mail client using control panel ->
default programs. Clicking on an url on a website (mailto
runs Outlook
fine; no problem then.
The same problem accurs if I use Windows gallery to email a picture. Upon
sending, right after selecting the resolution before attachment, I get the
exact error message as above.
Another piece of information that may help:
Microsoft Fax & Scan -> New Fax -> then clicking on "To" gives the error
message:
Unable to choose recepients!
Microsoft Outlook -> New mail -> "To" runs fine; I get the list of my
recepients.
