Hi there,
In our networked environment (40+ servers; 400+ workstations; Win2k AD
domain), users end up sending files via email a lot, which puts strain on
our Exchange 2k3 server. We do use DFS & have a batch file that allows
users to access all the file servers via a single mapped drive (e.g., T
Drive). Even though I've asked users many times to refrain from sending
files on the T drive, via email, it still happens. Especially since there's
that right click functionality in Windows, to "send file to Mail recipient".
What I'd love to have, is that right click functionality "Send File Link to
Mail recipient". And have the recipient be able to use the link to access
the file.
Is there an easy way or a plug-in that allows this? What are other options?
Thanks very much,
Shannon
