Sending Forms

When I use a form to email someone, it also puts a copy in my outbox and in
my draft box. Can I stop this from happening?

It's hard to say without knowing any of the details, including the Outlook version, mail server type, steps to reproduce the problem.

Yes. Don't send an email created from the form to anyone and nothing will be
placed in your outbox.

It's Office 2003. I just go into tools, open the form, address it and send
it. The recipients recieve the email, but it also stays in my draft box and
my out box.

You left out information about how you're "opening" the form. Please provide exact details.

It does it whether I open it in Outlook/Tools/Forms, or if I open it straight
from my desktop.

So you're opening an .oft file?

Does it have any special settings on the Options dialog, like a folder other than Sent Items for the folder to save the sent message?

Actually, I've tried it both ways (thru the tools menu and just opening the
..oft file) and it does it either way. Nothing is checked in options other
than save a copy to the sent file

My point was that you're using an .oft template file, not a published form. It's an important distinction.

Regardless, I can't duplicate the problem here. I would suspect either VBA code or an Outlook add-in running on your machine.

Has it always done this? What is the changed behavior? Have you looked at
the actions which are defined in the Actions tab of the form?

Even if I go into Tools/Choose Forms/Personal Forms Library/Open
Fill out the to: box and send the form,
it continues to put on in the sent box, the draft box, and the out box. It
doesn't matter that I'm using a form.

As I said, I can't duplicate the problem. Therefore, I have no idea what's causing it. If you can post it somewhere, I'll be happy to try your form here.

You can mail it to webmaster at outlook period com but I can't guarantee it will get through the spam filter.
