Sending From Alternative email address in Exchange Account

Mike

How does one send emails from a secondary (non-primary) SMTP address? I have
one Exchange account configured and within that account I have several email
addresses from different domains. I'd like to be able to send outgoing email
from one of my secondary SMTP addresses.

My primary SMTP address is (e-mail address removed) and I have a secondary SMTP
address of (e-mail address removed) How do I get Outlook to send mail out as
(e-mail address removed)?

When I type in the addrees, it automatically resolves back to my primary
SMTP address.

Thanks in advance.

Create another account that's a POP account and specify the secondary
address for it. Exclude it from the Send/Receive group so that it won't try
to fetch anything. Specify a dummy POP server for the account, and your
Exchange server's SMTP connection or smart host as the SMTP server. When
you want to send mail from the secondary address, choose that account.
