Sending invites from iCal to Entourage 2004.

There is a problem or a bug with this.

There are a few dozen Macs in our office, and they are either running
Mail + iCal (OS X v10.4.10) OR Entourage 2004.

If you create and even in iCal and then invite other people to it,
those using Entourage recieve a .ics (?) file, but the end date for
the event is always 1st Jan 1601. As in, 407 years ago. So, the event
never shows up in the Calendar part of Entourage.

Secondly, there is a time zone issue. Entourage doesn't seem to have
any setting for Daylight Saving Time (GMT / BST - British Summer Time)
here in London.

Any help / advice would be great,

Thanks.

I'd like to second the timezone issue...my assistant uses ical, I use
entourage, whenever she creates an event and invites me to it, my
clock sets the event forward 1 hr (so that the 2pm meeting shows up at
3pm in Entourage) and has to be manually corrected, usually by my
manually selecting the proper timezone.

invite looks like this:
Thursday, October 11, 2007 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM America/Los_Angeles (3:30
PM Locally)

or, to mimic the 1601 problem, this:
Thursday, October 11, 2007 1:00 PM - Monday, January 1, 1601 1:00 AM
America/Los_Angeles (2:00 PM Locally)

Have reset my prefs both in OSX and Entourage to set my timezone to
Pacific, but nothing fixes this problem.

Any ideas???
