Sending large volume of emails.

Hello
I have a customer that is running a 3rd party CRM package that dumps a
series of emails into outlook as an eshot. The emails are sent to the
draft folder and then automatically out.
The customers are sending any number of emails to outlook, but if a
number in excess of 250 is put into outlook, those first 250 go, but
any others sit in the drafts box as if they are normal draft emails.

Are there any limits in outlook that could be causing this? I have
checked their pop3 settings on the host and they have no limits
either.

Any help would be gratefully received

This is typically a setting on the customer's SMTP server. If they're
sending mail through their ISP they may have a tarpitting feature enabled to
only allow so many messages per SMTP session, or so many messages from a
particular host in a certain period of time.

The ISP should be contacted to determine what (if any) controls they have in
place to prevent abuse of their server.
