notes from a onenote user to another????

In a local network setup, can notes easily be sent between attached desktops?
Can user-a send a note to user-b if both have onenote on thier computers and
it will popup on user-b desktop?

No, ON does not have a feature of sending notes as messages (other than
by attaching them by mail).

ON however has a fantastic feature of sharing notebooks.
If the users use a shared notebook for their communications, anything
added/changed will automatically be synched both ways.
AFAICS this might be perfect for what you have in mind.

What is AFAICS?? And thanks for your reply. It saves me a lot of time trying to figure it out. but why not have that feature? It definitely belongs in a note program.

One of the traditional acronyms in the world of e-communications: As Far
As I Can See (similar: AFAIK: As Far As I Know).

You're welcome.

I don't know where this idea/ understanding of the features of a "note
program" might come from :-( :-(
Could it be that you have "Lotus Notes" in mind??

OneNote is not a messaging application. It's a "note taking"
application!!
Messaging does not belong to note taking ;-)

You might see a lot information on the product here:

The crazy name you appear with is still there :-( :-(
