Sending one record to a report or Word doc?

Hi all,

I have a form with specific customer information that I'd like to send to
either a report or MS Word document. I'd like the report/doc to be a form
letter that gets populated with the customer data on the record currently
viewed in the form.

I thought this would be simple, but, unless I'm missing something obvious,
it doesn't appear to be. In the command button, do I have to do something
like assign the open record to the report/doc as a recordsource?

Sorry if this is basic, but it's just not clear to me exactly how to send
the data to the report/doc.

Hi,

couple of things, when in preview mode of a report you have a word button at
the top of the screen, this will do a job of making your report look totally
different in an rtf file, you may be lucky and it looks ok.

or get Albert's word merging solution, although I have written my own, his
is much more streamlined than mine and you will get results a lot quicker..
