Sending only

Is it possible to set up an account to send only? I am viewing emails
on one workstation & another one is used just to send by students. It
is very rarely checked, so we don't want it pulling in any emails. Is
this doable? It seems to want that field filled in.

You'll need to set up the account completely but once configured you can
disable it;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive-> Edit...
