sending pp as email

I am trying to send a powerpoint presentation (just our
vacation pictures) to family. Put 9 slides together-
pictures with captions. Properties said the size was
5.16 mb. Have tried to send it but get an email error
saying the file is over the max size of 5.42mb but it is
not. Anyone who can help I would appreciate it. I tried
to send it as a read only but still go the same message.

Another thing that increases the size of a picture is the resolution.
PowerPoint 2002 uses 200 dpi for Printable presentations and 96 dpi for
Web/Screen presentations.
Any higher resolution increases the size of the pictures.
