I have Outlook XP 2002 with the latest Service Pack 3
under XP Pro with latest Service Pack 2 installed. I am
on a dial up connection, 56K modem, not broadband.
As often as not, but not always, Outlook does not send e-
mails from the Outbox although the status bar shows 100%
complete and goes on to Receive. I have to press
send/receive several times before they go, or often I have
to exit and start again, then they go. Receiving also
often produces an error message, I repeat Send/Receive and
in they come. All the MS Help pages say "known problem,"
fixed by Service Pack or previous patches, but not so in
this case. Same problem happens with all ISP's.
Can anyone give me some help with this time consuming
frustration, please. Thank you, and best wishes.
