Sending report in text format via email

I am using DoCmd.SendObject method to send a report via
email. I am using objecttype 'acSendReport' and output
format 'acFormatTXT'. It works fine on Windows 98 (sends
the attached report with extension '.txt') . However, on a
Windows XP Profesional system, the attached report has an
extension of '.eml' instead of '.txt'. This causes
problems with email security. How do I get the XP system
to generate/attach the report with '.txt' extension?

I am using Access 2000.
