Sending Report to WinFax

Thanks for taking the time to read my question. I am
wondering if anyone knows how I can send a report to
WinFax and fax it. I know you can, for example, create a
second database from within an Access app, and send it to
WinZip, zip it, and e-mail it all with code from the
Access app.

Is it possible to do this with a report?

Darb:

You can output a report to winfax using either DDE or automation. The only
catch is if you have Winfax 10.02 where that functionality was "broken"
internally. (Took 'em well over a year to fix it.) Notwithstanding that,
if you have version 8-10.02 or the latest 10.03, look in the help files for
DDE etc.

If you want to avoid the time to program it all out, take a look at our web
site and in the developer tools section we offer two products that interface
with Winfax from Access. Our Print Batch Manager, provides simply three
function call faxing and fax broadcasting. Our Winfax Library provides two
VBA classes that provide more robust functionality, including the ability to
monitor fax send success or failure.

Install the Winfax printer driver's then you can print the report straight
into Winfax.
