Sending' reported error (0x8004060C) : 'Unknown Error 0x8004060C'

What does this error mean and how can I correct it? Outlook continues to try
to send an email (about once every minute) but there is nothing in the
Outbox. I am using Office XP and Windows XP Pro. The exact wording is "Task
'*TBE Fastgateways Mail - Sending' reported error (0x8004060C) : 'Unknown
Error 0x8004060C' " , where "*TBE Fastgateways Mail " is the name for my
email account. This error message appears in the Outlook Send/Receive
Progress window. Please Help

Help! I still have this problem with the undeletable "undeliverable read
receipt". I am still getting the annoying 176 emails daily stating this. I
tried what you stated using OutlookSpy and I thought I followed it properly
but it didn't work. I just reinstalled it to see if I can do it again and it
says my trial period expired and do I want to buy it (which I don't since I
am not a developer and don't understand it in the first place). Is there any
other way to fix this problem? Can I uninstall/Reinstall Outlook? would that
fix it? any other Ideas? Are there better email programs to use. I am really
having a hard time dealing with this since it takes me about 20-30 clicks on
send before I can send email because of this problem. I would appreciate any
help you can give me.

I know of only one way to repair this without Outlookspy and that is to
create a new PST, make it your delivery location, and move the contents of
all your folders except the Outbox to that new PST.
