Sending -reported error (0x80042109) in Outlook

Hope someone can help here. I use Comcast for my ISP and Outlook is configured correctly but it will not send outgoing email. ISP cannot help saying it is a Microsft proble. I can receive email but not send -- HERE is the error I get.


Task 'mail.comcast.net - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
