Sending reports via Email other than Outlook

Is there a way to send Access reports (in *.SNP &/or *.PDF formats) other
than using Outlook such that the Outlook Security message can be bypassed?

Note that Exchange 2007 does not use IIS SMTP. If you
are using Exchange 2007 the pickup default pickup folder for
SMTP is now
c:\program files\microsoft\exchange server\TransportRoles\Pickup

It's been a very long time since I did this, but note that you could
avoid some of the problems by using cdo or mapi objects, not outlook
objects, and you could avoid one of the messages by saving messages
and not sending them. Which the client liked, because the Send was
then under the separate control of the operator, and the messages
could be reviewed by the operator before sending.

With Outlook 2007 the security block is automatically disabled if you have
recognized antivirus software with current definitions. I used to use
Outlook ClickYes, which is similar to Redemption but free, with earlier
Office versions.

I think that the 2 programs work differently. ClickYes intercepts the
message and feeds it the answer, while Redemption actually disables the
message entirely. Also, both of the programs are free for personal use. The
Pro version of ClickYes price varies from $39 down depending upon quantity.
Redemption only has one version and it's feature set is much larger than
that in ClickYes. It has 1 price, which that last time I bought it was $200,
but it covered the entire enterprise (in our case it was 1,600 computers in
23 locations).
