Sending Text to Word via MODI

Whenever I try to send a MODI (Microsoft Office Document Imaging) selection
of text to Word, I get the error
message ""an error was encountered while trying to send text to word - Please
verify that Word is properly installed".
This has just started happening in the past few months. I've tried
everything - re-installed Word, tried to make the selected text shorter, etc.
I still get this error message.

Anyone have any advice??
