Sending to recipient as attachment

Hi, I just upgraded from Microsoft Word 2000 to Word 2002. When I had
Word 2000, I was able to send documents as attachments from word. Now,

when I go to the file menu, and send to, the mail recipient as
attachment option is no longer available. It does not even show up on
the menu. I am using Windows XP and Outlook Express 6. I also use
Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.... I checked my options in Word, and I do
have the "Mail as attachment" box checked. If someone could help me
with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Have you tried adding it from the Customize option? Right click the
toolbar area and choose Customize. From the Customize dialog box click
on the Commands tab. In the list on the left choose File. Scroll down
the list on the right until you see Mail Recipient (As Attachment).
Click on it and then drag and drop it on the File, Send To menu. As
you drag the icon over the word File, the File menu will expand,
likewise for Send To. Hope this works. Lynn
