Sending to those who don't have OneNote

Hi,

Can I send my hand written notes to those who do not have
onenote as an image or something?

When I tried it, it sent 50 attachments. One of each line
I had written. That is not useable when trying read notes.

Thanks,
Courtney

Are you using OneNote SP1, Courtney? It works fine here, sending Ink within
the email with an attached .one file. Are you on a Tablet PC?

Yes, I use A Tablet PC(XP SP2) and OneNote with SP1
installed.
I was surprised it didn't work either.
My husband tried it on his work machine also (which
doesn't have OneNote installed) and it was just a bunch
of attachments also.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks,
Courtney

I recommed you save the note as a MHT file. You can then send that single
MHT file via email

Would the MHT file need to be opened with a browser?

I actually take notes at college for students who can't.
I tried the MHT thing, but when I sent my notes in, the
person didn't have a browser to view them.

More suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
Courtney

Courtney,

As far as browers go, MHT files open most reliably with Internet
Explorer. The Mozilla family of browsers can choke on them or show you
the underlying code as well as the content.

MHT isn't really a standard in the way that HTML is, hence the
difference in behaviour between browsers.

Microsoft Word should also be able to open MHTML files, although I
have never used it for that.
