Sending updates to a project manager

What is the best way for a project manager to receive updates from resources?

Scenario..

Disclaimer - We are NOT using MS Project at its full potential i.e. we have not baselined the project and are not strictly managing resource time allocation. Simply, we put tasks in the plan, assign a resource, include start and end dates of tasks, notes and any predecessors or successors associated with a task(s)

Situation - There is one person on the team that administratively manages the plan. No one else of the10 person team touches the plan.

Question - What is the most efficient way to submit plan changes to the plan administrator??
