Sending using Outlook 2002 with DSL provider

This is a strange one, hope someone can assist.

I installed DSL today. I had previously used Dialup. I use Outlook 2002.
I am now encountering problems sending e-mails to some of my friends. The
DSL Acct is set up properly in Outlook, the Tech Unit for the DSL Provider
confirmed...they are stumped. The DSL E-Mail acct is now the default e-mail.
When I reply to several of my friends in e-mails sent to me, or, create a
new e-mail, Outlook will not sent the Mail. I get a message "Task
'denmarfl'-Sending reported error (0x800OF): The conection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP)'. If I go the the DSL web Mail and send an
e-mail to the same person it sends fine. If I log onto my Dailup and Use
Outlook (it of course is still using the DSL service since the default e-mail
Acct is the DSL provider)...an e-mail sent to the same person using Outlook,
using the my Dialup Network Internet connection (netzero, the DSL is
verizon), the mail send fine.

I only get the error message when I an sending e-mails to certain people via
Outlook when I am using the DSL service............using my Dialup service
sending using Outlook to the same people....the message sends fine.

Hopefully someone knows what the error message means, and why Outlook can
send using Dialup....but not send using DSL to selective people.........
